What do an IAS officer at Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh, a cancer cell researcher at AIIMS, a manager at ‘Ferchaue Engineering’ in Germany and a scientist at the Baba Atomic Centre have in common? They have all graduated from Sharda Vidya Mandir(SVM), a school based in Sehore, a small town of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is 37 km away from the state capital of Bhopal.
The school Sharda Vidya Mandir was started in 1980 by the Bhopal Sugar Industries Ltd for its employees’ and farmers’ children in and around the Sehore district. It started as a primary school up to class 5, and is now a CBSE recognized senior secondary school since 2014.
